Note on Gender: We ask for your gender optionally to help match you with travel buddies who prefer companions of the same gender for comfort and safety reasons. You can choose not to provide this information.
B. Flight Information (Entered or Scanned):
- Flight number
- Departure and destination airports
- Passenger name (used solely for verification)
C. App Usage Data:
- Buddy codes
- Trip/interactions for matching and coordination
Note: Sky Buddy does not store chat messages. All messages are temporary and automatically deleted after the session ends. They are not stored on our servers or accessible later. - With other users you're directly matched with (limited to relevant information)
- With service providers assisting us in operating the app (under strict confidentiality and only as necessary)
- With authorities or regulators when required by law or to comply with legal obligations globally

We implement industry-standard encryption, secure servers, and access controls to protect your data.
- Messages are temporary and not stored
- Flight and profile data are used only for intended features
We retain only the minimum data necessary, and data is deleted or anonymized when no longer needed, in compliance with applicable global privacy laws.

Your Rights & Choices
Sky Buddy respects your privacy rights globally, including under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU/UK users and similar international frameworks.
You may:
- Update your personal details from your profile
- Delete your account directly within the app at any time using the “Delete Account” option in profile settings
- Alternatively, request account deletion by emailing support@skybuddyofficial.com
We will process all deletion requests and ensure permanent removal of your data in accordance with applicable laws. We respond to email requests within 7 working days.

Children’s Privacy
Sky Buddy is intended for users 17 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 17. If we become aware that such data has been provided, we will delete it promptly.
